The first was SUPERMAN, followed by BATMAN and CAPTAIN AMERICA (?) in the 1960's. SPIDER-MAN joined this elite group in the 1970's, all of these toys were gliders propelled by a slingshot arrangement. (Except the MARVEL FLYERS, in essence foam paper planes from 1966).
