His website for his comic imprint is www.shandafantasyarts.net ] HE'S THAT GOOFY LOOKING FELLOW Pinto Colvig has had an unusual career. He originally was one of the Disney animators, and lent his voice to a new character in their cartoons. This fellow was originally known as DIPPY DOG, then had his name changed to GOOFY. The Goof cartoons changed formats to a "How to" theme, when the Fleischer Brothers hired Colvig away from Disney. His website for his comic imprint is www.shandafantasyarts.net ] I WANNA GROW UP AND CHEW TOBACCO LIKE MY HERO Odd to most couch potatoes today, originally cartoons were used on television to advertise anything, including several "adult" products like liquor and cigarettes. The FLINTSTONES commercials for WINSTON CIGARETTES are collectible, but ones that are consistently overlooked are the cartoon advertisements for BULL OF THE WOODS chewing tobacco that ran primarily in the South on country music shows.
