St. Barthelemy, Caribbean

Compared to most of the other Caribbean islands, St. Barths is a stinker. St. Kitts has green sloping plains and Martinique has lush river valleys, St. Barths is scrawny, parched and inhospitable. So what's the appeal, beyond the beach shots you'll see below? St. Barths' population has formed an alliance with Mother Nature; taking a little of what she gave them and tweaking it. Go and see how well they did.
