Great Escape
A look at what to do in the major U.S. and
worldwide tourist destinations. -- June 12, 2006
|
An aerial flight over Minneapolis would show gleaming
skyscrapers set amidst glittering lakes. This "City of Lakes" should
be a must-see on your list of tourist destinations. Minneapolis truly has
something to offer everyone. Shopping, art, theater, museums, nature, fine
dining, historical attractions, luxurious accommodations and night clubs
galore; you cannot go wrong by booking a vacation to Minneapolis. If
you head to The Quest for dinner, you may spot the owner, Minneapolis native
son Prince; yes, the singer. (The Quest is his club.) Another must-see is the
statue of Mary Tyler Moore. See, there's no need to head to California for
celebrity sightings. It's all waiting for you in beautiful Minneapolis.
Median income -- $37,974
