Hello everyone,
?  1st of all I'd like to thank all the bands, my help staff and everyone that has come out to shows over our 1st two weeks. With your support Velour has had the most successful beginning that any Utah Valley music venue ever has!! Please help us keep it up by spreading the "Velour Word". Also stay tuned as we continue to add new exciting elements to Velour. This week we will have an all new HOTLINE # (801 818-BAND) to call for weekly concert updates. We will also be adding new pics and video clips to the website. new songs to our media player, etc. etc. etc !!

IMPORTANT NEWS ABOUT THE EMAIL LIST!?  Initially to get the word out about Velour we combined several band's donated email lists together to make a massive 10,000 person list. Unfortunately our server can't handle those numbers and in the process a lot of people didn't receive our 1st email. I'd like to thank all the bands for their help but we are now establishing an exclusive Velour list.?  If you are interested in continuing to receive this weekly email you need to do one of two things. Either go to www.velourlive.com and fill out the email signup or come in to the venue and sign up there. If you've already signed up in one of these two ways you're fine.

THIS WEEK AT VELOUR:

TUES (1/31) "Open-Mic Acoustic Night"?  We're in the process of reviving one of my favorite night's in Provo. This weekly event features a great mix of seasoned veteran performers as well as 1st timers. Just show up and sign up until the list is full (8pm $2 performers/ $3 public)

WED (2/1) Closed for some final renovations

THURS (2/2) Closed for some final renovations

FRI (2/3) Broke (Emo-core pop Maverick Records) w/ The Trademark and Allred. 1st thing you should know is to show up early or you won't get in! This show will sell out fast! Broke is a local favorite who has been deep in the recording of their 1st major label release on Maverick records and haven't played out for some time. This show will also serve as The Trademark's CD Release show after their last show got suddenly cancelled last month. Come check out Broke in an intimate setting while you still can! (8pm/ $5)

SAT (2/4) Palomino w/ Andrew Norsworthy & Jared Woods (from AK) and The Annuals. Palomino is obviously one of Utah's most respected bands and packed Velour on our opening night, this show will be the same. Joining Brinton and crew will be the amazing Andrew Norsworthy & Jared Woods touring as an all-star duo from AK. The Annuals finish off an already amazing roots-rock lineup as one of the most talked about bands in SLC. Do Not Miss This Show!!!?  (8pm/ $6)
