| Raising awareness and providing education of this dangerous activity, commonly known as the 'Choking Game' or Self-Induced Euphoric Asphyxiation is of the utmost importance and a crutial mission of The Dylan Blake Foundation. Several avenues have proven fruitful in raising awareness and we are actively pursue them. Additionally, collaboration with like minded organizations and private persons continues to expedite information being relayed to the general public. - Education of parents and students through presentations and creating curricula to be implemented
- Ensuring availability of educational materials to school administration, counselors, teachers, and law enforcement
- Support and direction to grieving parents and others seeking avenues to raise awareness
| On-going newscasts, and incidences continue to release information to the general population. Yet, youth continue to be injured, and in worse cases, meet their demise by participating in this adolescent sensation seeking activity. Education obviously has not yet become widespread beyond a reactive response. Although, there are communities taking a proactive, preventative approach to education. These communities should be held as examples, both neighboring and nationwide, for their commitment in protecting our
children. - Educators in Summit County, Ohio have taken steps to prevent a tragic incidence from occurring within their district.
- There were 7 reported deaths/injuries in May 2006. Geographically they are diverse, ranging from the U.S to Canada to S. Africa.
- May 29th in Nova Scotia - reportedly a 15 year old boy at school was rendered unconscious resulting in a fall down a flight of stairs. As of the time of the report and to the mothers dismay, the School had yet to inform parents of Asphyxia activity occuring within
the student population

Here are the latest updates: Students from Mandarin Middle School in Jacksonville FL have won first place in the county Documentary Video Contest with their video titled "Suffocation Roulette". The video has now been submitted to the
Nationwide Contest. Several surveys to gather statistical information. One gathers statistics of youth participating in asphyxiation activities, yet another gathers general knowledge of The Choking Game statistics Take me to the Surveys.
