Subject: From the spooky files... (and a note for actors) - September16, 2006

Hey…

So…

Just after posting last night’s newsletter, my family sat down
to watch “Akeelah and the Bee.”  At one point, Laurence
Fishburne asks the girl to walk over to the wall and read the
quotation that is framed there.  Before she even moved, I
knew what the quotation would be… the same one that I have
framed on my wall – the same one that had come up a number
of times in the past week, and that I had just posted in my newsletter.  Kinda spooky, huh?  I had chills.

Coincidence…?

Obviously, it bears repeating:

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest
fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light,
not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves,
who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be? You are a Child of God.
Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing
enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel
insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the
glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's
in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously
give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated
from our fear, our presence automatically liberates others."

- Marianne Williamson

To quote another movie – “Fast Times at Ridgemont High”…

“Read it.  Learn it.  Live it.”
And, I HIGHLY recommend “Akeelah and the Bee.”  Wonderful
movie!  It stars Laurence Fishburne, Angela Bassett, and a charming
young actress named Keke Palmer.

And, speaking of actors…

I forgot to mention in the newsletter that I will soon be fulfilling
a long-time goal of mine – bringing my work to the people I
know best – actors.

On Nov. 4th I will be doing a one-day EFT-intensive workshop
called “Fearless Acting.”  We will be tapping out those fears
that can cripple both career and craft.  More information will
be coming soon at
www.fearlessacting.com.

Be Magnificent!
