Hi y'all
*****************************************
I can't believe it is already time to start planning for Mardi
Gras parties!

How is your weather? Ours has turned cold and dreary. Oh well,
after all it is winter! :o)
*****************************************
Mardi Gras Party Ideas And Tips:

Clear the floor of one room to allow space for dancing. Set
chairs aside but make sure that there are some comfortable areas
where less lively guests can congregate and talk.

For A Bourbon Street themed party:
Recreate the New Orleans parade with balloons and inflatable
dolls of all colors and designs resembling the Bourbon Street
characters.Place doubloons and beads and masks at your table.

You can make a king cake, or order one and use it for your
centerpiece, whoever finds the plastic baby inside is crowned the
king and queen! We have some really fancy crowns at the supply
store!

Ask your guests to dress up fancy in real bright colors. It's a
Mardi Gras party so, the more outrageous, the better.

Play Cajun Style Music, and Mardi Gras music!

Have a supply of masks and beads to hand out at the door when your
guests arrive.

Most of all, just enjoy!
