Welcome! I hope everyone is having a Mother's Day weekend. Happy Mother's Day to all the Mothers out there.:o) This is a copy of a newsletter I sent out recently. Sorry, but I figured with it being so close to Mothers Day, you might could use some help. ************************************************ Today's newsletter is focused on Mothers's Day. We are including a poem, some party tips and ideas to help make Mom's day as special as she is! Enjoy! ************************************************ "Happy Mother's Day" means more than have a happy day. Within those words lie lots of things we don't get to say. It means I love you first of all, then thanks for all you do. It means you mean a lot to me, and that I honor you. But most of all, I guess it means that I am thinking of Your happiness on this, your day, With pleasure and with love *Tip- You can copy and paste this poem and send in an email to your Mom on Mother's Day! ************************************************ Take some time this Mother's Day to make Mom feel special! ************************************************ Send an invitation just to your Mom! These are some ideas to help get you started! 1 Invite your mom to join you for a shopping spree. 2 Send her a brochure from her favorite spa. Include a message on stationary inviting her to enjoy her day of relaxation. You can include other family members, or leave them out! Be sure to inform her the time of her appointment, the name of the person with whom she has her appointment, and exactly what she will be receiving. It's a good idea to pre-pay for these services! 3 Does your Mom enjoy gardening? Attach your invitation to a pair of gardening gloves, a garden tool, or a bunch of beautiful flowers. Tell her you would like her to join you to go shopping for that special gardening item she has been longing for! 4 How about cooking? Get your mom away from her stove! Write an invitation on the back of a recipe card. Include a gift coupon to a cooking school or class she might be interested in taking in town. ************************************************ Decorating for Mother's Day should be fun and simple. Flowers always add beauty and fragrance to any room. Suggested centerpieces: For your shopping Mom place small shopping bas filled with wildflowers in the middle of the table. For the relaxing Mom, place fragrant candles, and a few baskets of potpourri along the center of the table. For your Gardening Mom, place different plants along the center of the table and include a few potted flowers, and herbs. You can use thoe mini resin vegetable teapots for extra decorations. For your cooking Mom, Place some herbs and little cooking pots, little cooks hats, just use your immagination for this! ************************************************ The food served on Mother's Day should just be something simple or not!
