Level 2 Volleyball Coaching Course
- Day 1 - 7th October 2007
- Day 2 - 18th November 2007
- Day 3 - 10th February 2008
Venue: Manor Sports Centre, Manor Community College, Arbury Road, Cambridge, CB4 2JF,
Cost: ?45, This includes the compulsory 24hours of English Volleyball Association Level 2 Coaching Award spread out over 3 days in 3 different months to accommodate national league & student players.
On Day 2, there will be an extended session for First Aid, which is required for any coach to gain certification if they have not already got an accredited First Aid course or the old fashion SCUK Sports Injury Management and Prevention.

Guernsey Junior Island squad
My name is Debbie Ashford, I now teach in Guernsey and am involved with the Junior Island squad. We are looking at coming over to the UK early next year at some point to play some other teams (obviously we have a limited number of teams over here!) and I am wondering whether anyone knows of any junior (u/18) or any lower league ladies teams that would be interested in playing us maybe feb/march time?

As highlighted in issue 220, Iran vaulted into the volleyball history books to become the new 2007 Boys’ Youth World Champion for the first time ever beating China 3:2 (21-25, 25-22, 26-24, 31-29, 15-7) in a spectacular all Asian final which lasted 130 minutes at the Gimnasio de Usos Multiples in the Mexican city of Tijuana on Sunday.
