You need to write about topics people want to read. Your content must be interesting, useful and informative. Reblogging is not acceptable. Why would anyone want to read exactly the same information they have read somewhere else? Don't copy content from another blog if you want to be seen as an authority on your subject. So where can you find ideas for your content? Try to visualize your reader and write your post as if you were having a conversation with them. Get to the point quickly - within the first couple of sentences so that you can capture your reader's attention. Presentation is important. Write up short paragraphs and use lists or bullet points to break up the content. This makes it easier to read and it looks more appealing than a long block of text.
