******* Talk about sibling rivalry. House & Garden seems to be a mite upset with stablemate Domino's plans to publish a "green" issue in March. A House & Garden spokeswoman helpfully pointed out that Domino has failed to mention that it is using a prominent H&G contributor — namely Graham Hill, the man behind treehugger.com who has been a columnist for H&G since September. Domino vehemently denied that it pilfered Hill or sought any advice for its upcoming green issue from reading H&G (which delivers green content year-round). In a counterpunch, a Domino spokeswoman said Vanity Fair actually got to Hill first, having featured the much-in-demand ecologist hunk in its May 2006 green issue — a full four months before Hill became an H&G contributor. In response to the H&G claim, Domino's editor in chief, Deborah Needleman, took the "it's all about the reader" high road: "Our concern is to do what's best for the reader and with all things green, treehugger.com is one of the best. They are a natural fit for us — they speak to a young, hip audience the same way we do." Needleman was formerly an editor at large of H&G.

A spokesman for News Ltd. said the company planned to "develop and grow" the Vogue brand in Australia, but gave no details.

Lucky's outgoing senior fashion editor Jennifer Smith won't have far to go for her next gig: She'll be fashion director at Cookie, which moved into 4 Times Square at the beginning of the fall. (The space, next to Domino, will be especially familiar to Smith, considering that up until recently it housed Lucky.) Smith replaces Lauren Bentley, who moved to the West Coast for her husband's job.
