Calling all NY Editorial Assistants (and Assistant Editors who still assist). Now's the time to apply to participate in our 4th Annual EA SquareTable Event, to be held on Tuesday, Jan. 15 from 6:30-8:30 pm.

The event brings together EAs from New York-based magazines to discuss their jobs, as well as speak with senior magazine editors on how to succeed and get to the next level. The cost is $20.

Interns will learn about the daily activities of a large-scale magazine. This includes publishing, photo editing, photo research, and photo shoots (and much more). Interns will be primarily responsible for helping the photo team do photo research. However, interns will also be able to visit the in-house studio and go to photo shoots with the editors. In addition, the photo intern will assist the editors in various administrative tasks including contact with photographers worldwide. This is a fantastic opportunity to immerse yourself in the media industry and to gain experience working for a large media conglomerate.
