******* THAT didn't last long. Only a week ago, Mitchell Fox, a former group president of Cond? Nast, was being linked with former editorial director James Truman and headhunting honcho Sunny Bates in a new venture that was to be part acrobatic circus acts and part blue-sky think tank. Just as Eliot Spitzer exits public life, ``Kristen'' may be preparing for her grand entrance. Hustler magazine publisher Larry Flynt said he's willing to pay the prostitute, identified by the New York Times as Ashley Alexandra Dupre, $1 million to pose naked. Dupre, 22, may rake in $2 million more by selling her story to a magazine, said Lucianne Goldberg, the former book agent who passed taped conversations between Linda Tripp and Monica Lewinsky to reporters. ``A million dollars is more than what she would make as a call girl,'' Flynt said in an interview from Los Angeles after he made the offer March 14. ``She's quite attractive. Maybe Spitzer wasn't paying too much after all.'' MORE ONLINE ******* Perfect your pitching online 2008 Raise Your Voices: An Intensive Nonfiction Writing Retreat for

INTERNSHIPS ...that Time Out New York Kids is looking for editorial interns for Summer 2008. Our internships are very hands-on and require a great deal of writing, so previous student media or professional internship experience is preferred. Responsibilities include writing daily event listings, researching articles, adding content to our blog, fact-checking, writing items for both the print and online editions of the magazine and assisting with larger projects. A familiarity with New York City—and its youngest inhabitants—is a plus. A minimum commitment of 2-3 days/week is required. Please send resume, cover letter and 2-3 writing samples to the assistant editor, Julia Israel, jisrael@timeoutny.com.
