******* CO-ED, a quarterly with a high testosterone level, targets men on campus with its debut issue now hitting college bookstores, Barnes & Noble, newsstands and other outlets. A sexy Jennifer Garner, star of the new film "Elektra," is featured on the cover and talks about her days as a theater major at Denison University, in Granville, Ohio. Not to be confused with The Economist, the 176-page premiere also has stories about fake IDs, rugby, hangover cures and spring-break party towns. A sex editor, Julia Baugher, writes about "The Sad Triumph of the Ugly Man." There are also enough photos of "the sexiest and smartest women" enrolled at various colleges to have some men wanting their Christmas break to end quickly. Published by CO-ED Magazine.com LLC from offices in Hoboken, the startup is counting on its Web site, CO-EDmagazine.com, to help generate more photos and submissions from readers for future issues. CO-ED is the brainchild of founding publisher David Allen Liebler. Kirk Miller, formerly with Rolling Stone, is executive editor.
