??¦ that there is an editorial internship in the Home Design department of Bridal Guide magazine. The ideal candidate is a current college student with an interest in magazines and home design (communications majors preferred), available to start immediately and work one to two days a week during the spring '05 semester. There is no pay, but college credit can be arranged. Responsibilities will include: Assisting with ordering products, helping maintain the prop closet, filing press releases and mail, getting products to/from photo shoots and returning them afterwards, and miscellaneous editorial tasks as needed (no coffee-fetching!). You will have the opportunity to come to photo shoots and press events as schedules allow, and you'll get lots of experience in the workings of a consumer magazine, in a relaxed, pleasant work environment. As a seventeen.com editorial intern, you'll earn a wealth of real-world editorial experience including: writing, reporting, pitching ideas, and working in the fast-paced world of web editorial. Plus, you'll work with a fun, young staff on the site of the country's oldest and most-read young women's magazine. We're looking for someone with journalism experience who can make a commitment of 10-12 hours per week throughout the spring.
