The beleaguered adult brand is stripping out the raunchy back-of-the-book ads for phone sex, escort services and hardcore videos, among other things. The deputy photo editor is responsible for the bulk of research for art for the magazine including cover & feature stories and several sections in the front of the book. Incumbent is also responsible for product shoots monthly, mainly covering fashion and beauty. Ongoing duties include processing invoices, working with coordinator to manage return of film in a timely fashion, handling film properly while storing and releasing art, sending magazines and general photo departmental duties. This person should have several years of experience in photography related positions, ideally in publishing. They should have a strong creative eye and an interest in photography publishing. This person needs to be very diligent, able to prioritize and handle several tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines and be a proactive team player. We need high energy and positive attitude as this position is in a very fast paced environment. Expert level proficiency in Spanish is a must and knowledge of the celebrity world is a plus.
