...there ain't much news today!

Good thing Ed's always got something brewing. Making all these plans (see below) gives him something to think about other than the oppressive humidity in New York City and what a big, perspiring sweat-pig he's going to be when he walks outside. Yay!

Attention, Ed2010 NYC Book Club members (a.k.a. all ya??™ll ): Ed's next book will be The Know-It-All by AJ Jacobs (the Esquire editor reads the Encyclopedia cover-to-cover). Please buy it ($15 on Amazon), and mark your calendars to discuss it over cheap beers on Wednesday, October 19, at 7:00. The venue is pending??”look out for another post in early October. Prize for the reader who can recite the most useless facts gleaned from the book. (Not really.)

Want Some Cheese With That?
LA Ed is really going to whine if you don't join him a glass of vino at 8 p.m. Sept. 28 at Vermont Wine Bar in Los Feliz. Look for us on the bar side of the restaurant. Street parking is usually pretty easy to find, but there is a pretty cheap valet service around back. Here's what others have to say: http://losangeles.citysearch.com/profile/52312/los_angeles_ca/vermont_restaurant_and_bar.html
