Scrap Girls Chit Chat Newsletter

March 9, 2005

A Note from Ro

Here's a mid-week perk up for you...

We have so many new things to show you that the newsletter this week is one of our flip books. But because we know that a small number of our readers have trouble with this format, we've created three different versions to make sure that EVERYONE can see it.

    1. In the original interactive book format (with pages that flip) (Click this link or the picture above to open it)

    2. As a..pdf file

    3. Online web pages

Here's just a little of what the newsletter has to offer you:

    • Tips and Tricks (for both paper crafters and digital scrapbookers)
    • Lots of beautiful layouts
    • New freebies
    • Computer corner: How to install the free Scrap Girls screen saver we now have for you
    • Scrapbooking Myths

Scrap Girls will be hosting our first online "Crop and Learn" on Thursday, March 17th.

The classes (which will be led by our design team and include offerings for both paper and digital crafters) are free and we will be giving away prizes in each one.

The design team will also be creating a Scrap Girls Lucky Collection for this occasion. Winners of the games during the final "Free for All" crop will each receive this collection as a prize. The collection will also be for sale in the Scrap Girls Boutique with profits earned will be donated to the charity, "Food for the Poor."

More information about our "Crop and Learn" event can be found here. Make sure you add it to your calendar!

  4. If using on Apple MAC, then a PC emulator is required, e.g. VirtualPC. (Using a MAC? We have created an HTML version and a PDF version so that you won't have to miss it.

What are people saying about Scrap Girls?

"Your site is great, I love the Newsletter (I was in stitches over the article about not trying to be perfect with your pages - I am completely new to Scrapbooking and wanting to be  'perfect' is putting me off creating anything!) Needless to say the designs are wonderful - I have been searching the web for months, and I must say yours are some of the best."  - Sue

"Thanks so much for your help, and let me say that I'm equally impressed with your product (which printed out beautifully, even on the plain old white paper I tested it on) and now with your service.  I placed a small order so I could see whether it would be worth the bother, and let me say, I'll certainly be back!" - Betsy

"I cannot thank you enough. I can only make 8/5 x 11's, but it looks great! I am so happy. This is exactly why I am going to buy every single supply needed from you. I'm even going to erase all my other bookmarks! You all really have gone out of your way to make sure a customer was pleased. " - Melanie

"I just tried downloading some freebies today for the first time and love them! The download process was very simple! I'm going to go through your tutorials to learn more. I don't have a 12 x 12 printer so I want to see what I can do with some of your products on a regular printer. I usually scrap 12 x 12 but I am going to do an 8 x 8 album and hope I can convert some of the paper to 8 x 8. I love the designs you have and how you have coordinated sets! That'll make doing an album much easier." - Marcia
