Sick City has just released a video for “Smiles & Cries” off their album Nightlife, released Sept 25, 2007 through Smallman Records in Canada and Trustkill Records worldwide.  Front-page exclusive premiere placement for “Smiles & Cries” is now in full effect at Yahoo! Music Canada.

Produced by video director W. James Meagher, the video for “Smiles & Cries” is inspired by the black and white silent film era, featuring a heroic urban-sandinista who encounters snowball vigilanteeism while trying to cross enemy held little-chinatown!

“Smiles & Cries” is the second video released off Nightlife.  The first was “Turning Heads”, directed by Colin Minihan (The Gorgeous, Protest the Hero).

Sick City have toured with Bedlight for Blue Eyes, Every Avenue, The Mile After, Mayday Parade, Papa Roach, It Dies Today, From Autumn to Ashes, Cancer Bats, and played Canadian dates on Warped Tour and A Taste Of Chaos.  

Sick City is able to serve the masses spoonfuls of their highly addictive rock syrup through their charismatic debut Nightlife.  The quintet stays freshby detonating an array of invigorating yet diverse rock melodies..with strong bass and grandiose percussion at the helm, the sturdy structure let’s the delicate lyricism soar to maximum capacity.
