Canadian indie-rock band Sylvie have finished recording their new album with
producer J. Robbins  (Against Me, Jets to Brazil, Jawbreaker) and have booked a
short Western tour to give fans a preview of their new songs.  The as-of-yet
untitled album is scheduled for release through Smallman Records in October
2008.

The new album comes three years after Sylvie released their critically
acclaimed sophomore An Electric Trace (Smallman), which was described as

Smallman Recording Artist Sights & Sounds have released a video for the song
Reconcile. Over 3,000 35mm black and white still frames were painstakingly
edited together to animate this video. Reconcile is the first video from their
2007 self-titled EP.

Recently signed to Green Day label Adeline Records in the US, Oregon s Pop Punk
Quartet Broadway Calls has now been added to the entire North American Vans
Warped Tour for 2008. Dates and venues for the tour have yet to be announced.

irritation that it's easy to get down on the entire genre. But then albums like
Broadway Calls surface boasting songs like "Van Rides and High Tides," where

again, singing your heart out in some kid's basement, smiling and dancing like

Winnipeg, MB s Sick City will release  NIGHTLIFE  September 25 through Smallman
Records in Canada and Trustkill Records internationally.  Recorded at Tree
Sound Studios with producers Kenneth Mount & Zach Odom (Cartel, Jimmy Eat
World), NIGHTLIFE is Sick City s first full length CD.

Sick City formed in early 2005 with Josh Youngson (vocals), Joel Neufeld
