Freelance Writer and Copywriter, Linda is also a regular Correspondent for Construction Equipment Guide-Ohio. That means she’s certain of getting one article—with pictures—published at least once a month. (That’s good for one less rejection letter each month.)
She’d love to write for those slick glamour magazines, but her background in banking and finance, real estate and insurance, construction and heavy equipment, ad nauseum, didn’t set her up with the right chops.
Originally
from Washington state (the rainy side), and with the 3 kids grown (but never quite completely gone from home), she and hubby have traveled most of the states while he has wrought big beautiful commercial buildings from the dirt. He’s just received a nice promotion and they’ll be settling in central Ohio on a semi-permanent basis, with much less traveling. This makes Linda and their 7 year-old one-eyed cat very happy.
Their number of grandchildren fluctuates as one daughter and son-in-law are foster parents. Today, the number of grandchildren is hovering around 6?.
Linda has a novel in process, replete with
murder, mayhem, and International intrigue. She also writes short stories, essays, and the occasional poem. It was poetry that garnered her the coveted first published clip, when she was 17. It was her very enlightened grandfather, Cecil Kramer, who pushed her to become a writer—many years ago.
