The following 3 simple selling tactics produce sales by
responding to the way customers normally think and behave.
They work for any business - regardless of what you sell,
how you sell or where you sell it.

1. Pay Attention to Getting Attention

Can you remember the last 3 advertising messages beamed at
you? Can you remember even one of them? Most people can't
...including your prospective customers. That's because
they automatically ignore the steady stream of advertising
directed at them.

This illustrates a major obstacle you need to overcome
before you can sell anything. You have to get your
prospect's attention - and get it fast - or your sales
message will be ignored.

Here are 3 proven ways you can capture a prospect's
attention quickly:

* Make a dramatic statement:
Example: "Even My Doctor Uses These Health Products"

* Surprise your prospects with something unexpected:
Example: "Try our service without charge for one month"

* Ask a provocative question:
Example: "If you're such a smart business owner why aren't
you making six figures?"

Tip: Include attention getting headlines on all your web
pages. Many visitors arrive at a web page then immediately
click away - unless something instantly catches their
attention.

2. Emphasize the Human Relationship

Prospective customers are more receptive to buying from a
real person than from an impersonal company. Look for ways
to create a personal relationship with your prospective
customers. For example:

...If you sell face to face, spend some time early in the
selling process getting to know a little about your
prospects and letting them get to know you.

...If you sell online or in some other way where you don't
talk with prospects, include some information about you in
your presentation. What you say about yourself will have
the greatest impact if it highlights why you are uniquely
qualified to provide what your customer wants.

Tip: Sell yourself to make prospective customers
comfortable with the selling process. But sell your company
and its history of producing results to make prospective
customers confident of your ability to deliver what you
promise.

3. Trigger Your Customer's Imagination

Convert the benefits delivered by your product or service
into vivid word pictures. Then put your prospect in the
picture by dramatizing what it feels like to be enjoying
those benefits.

Be specific. If you sell financial products, describe what
it feels like to enjoy an affluent living without debt. If
you sell boats, describe what it feels like cutting through
the waves with your friends onboard. If you promote a
business opportunity, describe what it feels like to be at
home working without a boss.

Tip: Be sure your word pictures are dramatizing benefits
and not describing features. People don't really care about
the new high-tech insulation used in their beverage cooler
(a feature). They just want to be able to enjoy ice cold
beverages all day long on a hot day (the benefit).

These 3 selling tactics produce sales by responding to
normal human behavior. Use them in your web pages, sales
letters and personal presentations. The volume of business
they produce will surprise you.

Article #2 : Ten Tips to the Top of the Search Engines

Having a Web site that gets found in Google and the other engines
isn't hard to do, but it can be difficult to know where to begin.
H?«re are ten tips to get you started:

1. Start out slowly. If possible, begin with a new site that has n?«ver
been submitted to the search engines or directories. Choose a domain
name that best fits your brand, and start out by optimizing just the
home page. (Many SEOs recommend purchasing a keyword-rich
domain name; however, I've been optimizing sites successfully since
1995 without using them.)

2. Learn basic HTML. A lot of search engine optimization techniques
involve editing the behind-the-scenes HTML code. Your high rankings
can depend on knowing which codes are necessary, and which aren't.
Minimally, you should be able to view the source code of any page and
understand what it all means, as well as be able to slightly edit it as
necessary.

3. Choose keyword phrases wisely. The phrases you think might be
perfect for your site may not be what people are actually searching for.
To find the optimal words for your site, use a research tool such as
Wordtracker. Decide on two or three highly targeted phrases for each
page of your site. N?«ver shoot for general keywords such as "travel"
or "vacation" as they are rarely (if ever) indicative of what your site is
really about.

4. Write at least 200-250 words of visible text copy based on your
chosen keywords. This is a crucial component to high rankings and a
successful Web site. The search engines need to "read" keyword-rich
copy on your pages so they can understand how to classify your site.
Write the copy based on your keyword phrases, and not the other way
around. Don't be afraid to use your phrases as many times as it makes
sense to do so. The optimal number of instances will vary by search
engine, the number of words on your page, and also by how well the
copy actually reads to a person. Simply sticking keyword phrases at the
top of the page or only in headlines probably won't cut it. (Purchase and
read my Nitty-gritty of Writing for the Search Engines handbook for
exact tips on how to do this.)

5. Create a killer Title tag. Title tags are critical because they're given
a lot of we??ght with all of the search engines. You must put your keyword
phrases into this tag and not waste space with extra words. Do not use
the Title tag to display only your company name, or to simply say
"Home Page." Think of this tag more as a "Title Keyword Tag" and create
it accordingly. It should reflect exactly what your page is about, using the
keyword phrases people might be using at a search engine to find your
company.

6. Make sure your site is "link-worthy." Other sites linking to yours is a
critical component of a successful search engine optimization campaign,
as all of the major search engines place a good deal of emphasis on your
site's overall link popularity. You can go out and request hundreds or
thousands of links, but if your site sucks, why would anyone want to link
to it? On the other hand, if your site is full of wonderful, useful
information
-- other sites will naturally link to it without your even asking. It's fine
to
trade links; just make sure you are providing your site visitors with only
the highest quality of related sites. When you link to lousy sites, keep in
mind what this says to your site visitors as well as to the search engines.

7. Create meaty Meta tags. Meta tags have some value, but they are not
a magic bullet. Create a Meta Description tag that uses your keywords
and also describes your site. The information in this tag often appears
under
your Title in the search engine results pages, especially if the keyword
phrase that was searched upon in the engine appears in your tag. The
Meta Keyword tag isn't quite as important as the Meta Description tag.
Contrary to what many people believe, what you place in the keyword
tag will have very little (if any) bearing on what keywords your site is
actually found under, and it's not given any consideration whatsoever by
Google. Feel fr?«e to use this tag for technical synonyms or common
misspellings if you want to, but do not obsess over it; it definitely won't
make or break your rankings.

8. Be careful when submitting to directories such as Yahoo, DMOZ,
JoeAnt, Gimpsy and the like. Having directory listings are a key
component to getting your site spidered and listed by Google and the other
search engines. Therefore it's important to read each directory's FAQ and
follow it precisely. Making mistakes in the submission process could cost
you dearly as directory listings are difficult to change later in the game.
Be
cognizant of the fact that you will be dealing with human editors, and
always think about how you can make their job easier when it comes to
listing your site.

9. Don't expect quick results. Getting high rankings takes time; there's no
getting around that fact (even with paid-inclusion). Once your site is
added to a search engine, its rankings may start out low and then slowly
work its way up the ladder. All search engines measure link popularity,
and it takes time to really and truly become one of the most popular sites
in your niche. Be patient and give your site time to mature.

10. Don't constantly "tweak" your site for better results. It's best not to
make changes to your on-the-page optimization for at least three months
after you optimize it. You certainly don't need to sit on your hands or
twiddle your thumbs during this period, however. You should constantly
work on adding new stuff to your site to make it better and better, plus
you should always be on the lookout for other sites that might be interested
in making your site available to their site visitors.

If you've followed these tips and still can't find your site in the engines,
the
first place to "tweak" would be your page copy. If you added less than
250 words of visible text on your pages, this could be your culprit. Also,
double-check your keyword density, and make sure that you only targeted
two or three phrases per page.

Eventually, you'll see the fruits of your labor with many top-ten rankings
in Google and the rest of the search engines!

1.Cross Promoting Can Increases Profits.

This is how it's done. Find other businesses that have the same
target market, but that are not direct competitors. Then propose
a partnership. There are many ways to find prospective partners.

Subscribe to ezines, join discussion groups, forums and
newsgroups that share your target market.You can also search in
search engines and directories to find businesses that target
your market.

Let your contact list and subscribers know that you are
interested in cross promoting your products and services Post it
on your Web site. Don't be shy!

There are many benefits to cross promoting. You will save money
on advertising and marketing costs. It can save you time, work,
help you get new referrals, customers plus access to new
products and services.

2. Linking with a Twist.

It is important to get other sites to link to yours. It
increases your popularity even your rankings. You can put a
links page on your site but getting people to link to you with
out some incentive is a different story. But if you add this
little twist your sure to get the links.

Create a directory of websites on a specific topic. Give people
the option of adding the directory to their web site by linking
to it. Put your business advertisement at the top of the
directory. This technique will give people a reason to link to
your site by giving them added content for their visitors and it
will get you free advertising.

3. Autoresponders Work Wonders.

Aweber and Get Response do this all the time. You get a free
auto-responder they get to put their ad inside. So instead of
just swapping ads trade auto-responder ads with other
businesses. If both of you send out information with
auto-responders just exchange a small classified ad to put at
the bottom or top of each other's auto-responder message. This
would work great with email courses too.

4 We all Need Good Content.

You need fresh content for your ezine or website why not
exchange content with other web sites and newsletters. You could
swap articles, tips, ect. You both include a resource box or a
link at the end of the content. And both of you get more
exposure.

5. Everyone Loves a Hot Tip.

So share yours daily, weekly whenever you can. You can offer
them in a newsletter on a tip sheet or record them on your voice

get you going.

You can even have your tips syndicated. Try
mastersyndicator.com. Just imagine your insightful information
spreading all over the web!

Try to keep the tips relevant to your business. Include a link
to your web site or business in the mix and you have got it made.

The whole idea is to promote your business without blowing your
budget. These simple ideas are just the start. Take then,

Often we are in overwhelm because we are holding too many things in
our brain. We are trying to make everything a priority and get it
done now. When really we can eliminate 60 % of those things get more
accomplished and be more successful.

If you answer "yes" to three or more of the questions below it's a
good bet you need to get your life organized and put an end to being
stressed out a good deal of the time.
Do you find yourself feeling frustrated that you never have enough
time to do the things you really enjoy?

1. Do you go through most of the week feeling hurried, hassled, out
of control?
2. Are there any flat surfaces still visible around your house or
office?
3. Or are they covered with piles of newspapers, unread magazines,
junkmail, and other papers you are just about to get to?
4. When you need to find something, does it often take minutes or
hours of searching to finally find it?
5. Do you have files that bulge or have nothing in them?

Okay so you answered yes to most of these or a variation of the same
types of problems. What you may not realize is that by having so many
messes in your life you are draining away your life energy. Energy
you could spend on something you really would enjoy doing.
Messes in our lives aren't limited to stacks of unread email or that
long to-do list they include unresolved issues in your relationships
with others, issues with weight or health, your finances or difficult
legal situations or things you have always wanted to do but just
never had the time.
These unresolved situations and messes in your life are very draining
and can become debilitating if you don't take the time to get your
physical surroundings and personal life in order. Each time you clean
up a mess, you increase your concentration, confidence and energy
levels.
Start with the small messes first. A lot of things can be
straightened up in a few minutes or an hour and the increased energy
you will gain from the satisfaction of a least one thing in your life
being organized will encourage you to start working on other messes.

Try this exercise:
~ On a blank piece of paper draw lines dividing the paper in four
equal parts.
~ In the first section, jot down all the incomplete projects you have
started. Include projects from the home and office.
~ In the second section, jot down all the projects for both the home
and office you have been thinking of doing but haven't started yet.
~ In the third section jot down the things you aren't doing but
really would like to start. Make sure to include the things that
would give you some special time for yourself. Like reading a few
chapters a day or practicing your watercolor painting.
~ In the fourth section jot down the things you would like to change
or remove from your busy life.

Review the sections of your paper and pick one thing to work on every
two weeks. If it is small choose a second thing and begin working on
that. You will be impressed with how much better you feel. I know I do.
