In a ladle, warm room; light it and pour into bowl. Stir until sugar has dissolved. Add room temperature vodka stirring constantly. Slowly pour the composition in hot coffee, stirring all the time. It's not very difficult if you follow these 3 simple steps. Step 1: Control Your Advertising Expense Look for ways to keep your sales volume growing without increasing your advertising expense. For example: * Negotiate Price With Advertisers Many advertisers are willing to negotiate a special discount to keep your business - or to get it away from their competitors. Take the initiative when you're placing an ad. Ask for a discount ...or a bigger discount than the one already offered. * Trim Your Ads Reduce the size of your ads so you can run more ads without increasing your total cost. Don't be surprised if some of your short ads generate a bigger response than your long ads. The most effective ad I ever used had only 11 words. Step 2: Generate Some Unpaid Publicity Publicity is what you get when someone else promotes (or you get them to promote) your business. It establishes more credibility with prospective customers than advertising ...and it generates sales at a much lower cost. Start a publicity program for your business - or expand the one you already have. Here are 3 simple ways you can use publicity to generate business: (1) Find something newsworthy about your business. Write about it in a news release and distribute it to publishers. (2) Contact non-competing businesses serving customers in your market. Offer to publicize their products or services to your customers in exchange for their publicizing your services to their customers. (3) Write a short "how to" article to help customers in your targeted market. Promote a product or service related to the topic of the article in a short byline at the end. Distribute your article to ezine publishers, web sites and trade magazines serving your targeted market. Give them permission to publish it without paying you. Caution: Don't expect unpaid publicity to replace the results you get with advertising. Use it to supplement your advertising. You control where and when your advertising appears. You cannot control where or when you get publicity ...or if you get any at all. Step 3: Improve Your Selling Propositions Most prospects who take the time to consider your product or service would like to buy from you. But they decided that other things they want are either more important or more urgent. You can capture many of these sales by dramatically improving your offer. Create a "good deal" that's so enticing it becomes their first choice. You don't have to reduce your price to improve your offer. Instead, simply load your offer with bonuses. Make sure your bonuses have a high perceived value to your customers ...even if they cost you little or nothing. Always include an expiration date for your offer. Give prospects the choice to either accept your proposition within a short time or forfeit it. This will motivate many prospects to delay some other purchase so they can buy your product or service now. Tip: To create an absolutely irresistible offer - include a special discount price AND a set of valuable bonuses in your offer. Controlling your advertising expense and getting unpaid publicity will attract potential customers at the lowest cost. Improving your selling propositions will convert the maximum number of those prospects into paying customers. It's so classified even GoogleGuy doesn't know it. It hasn't even been made known on any forum or SEO news site, let alone Google's Webmaster Guidelines. So what do I know that everyone else doesn't? Google is a female. It's true. All the signs are there. For starters, she's smart and capable. She has a pleasing exterior, and she can multitask (what with all those millions of searches conducted daily). On top of that, she can raise a family too! Just look at all those kids she feeds: AOL Search, Netscape, Lycos, Hotbot... She tends to get a bit emotional and slightly tempestuous every now and then. After each update, webmasters reel over Ms. Google's latest tantrum. Today, Google is showing a whole different set of backward links that weren't there yesterday, and many are from pages with a PageRank lower than 4! Webmasters who have optimised their site using one criterion do not know whether they're coming or going. "What is going on with this latest update?" they scream. "This wasn't in the guidelines! This doesn't make any sense!" they rant. Well, neither does the link: command, but she didn't tell you that either. Google has her reasons. And because she's top-of-the-pile of search engines, she can pretty much do what she likes. She's also allowed to change her mind on a regular basis about the things she likes in a website. First it was the Meta description and keyword tags. Then it was the alt tags. Then it was reciprocal links. These days, she's a fan of one-way inbound links. And of course, there's nothing like a woman scorned. All you have to do to see evidence of this is to talk to the guys over at a certain high-profile search engine marketing company or their poor unsuspecting clients. This company (and its clients) has recently been kicked off Google for using spammy doorway pages to cheat the algorithm. Because of their spam tactics, they've been punished, and I suspect it will take a very long time for them or their clients to get listed again, let alone climb the rankings. But underneath all the tantrums and apparent irrational behaviour sits a young lady who's yearning for something quite simple. All she's really looking for is a stable, long-term relationship with a nice guy. That of course would be a useful, relevant website with loads of scintillating, informative copy and some great inbound links. (This would of course assume that websites are males, but that's another story altogether.) So you want to be liked by your favourite lady? Then don't be a player. Don't use underhanded tactics and try to spam the search engines to climb the rankings. And don't cheat on her by setting up link farms and running around with every bad guy on the block. Be nice, and be decent. Give her what she's looking for in a long-term relationship -- a stable, meaningful site with a lot beneath the surface and someone who's in it for the long haul and for the right reasons. Because when Google smiles on your site, the rest of your target market will smile too! Quite a lot, actually. First some history...there are approximately 227 tropical countries worldwide, and of these, only about 28 contribute on a very large scale to the world's production of coffee, numbering some 11 million hectares. The coffee bean is actually related to the Gardenia bush that is prevalent in home gardens and comes from a shade-loving shrub called "Coffee Arabica" that flourishes under the canopy of diverse tree species, originating in the forests of east Africa. Our daily coffee habit literally connects us with mill*ons of coffee farmers that grow, process, roast and export over 6.2 million tons of coffee beans that have been channeled from tree to your cup for generations, ranking coffee as one of the most heavily traded commodities in the world. Traditionally and in its natural habitat, most coffee has been grown in the shade of tropical rainforests and prior to 20 years ago, this was the way most coffee was grown. Unfortunately, since about 1972, as a result of the world's huge and ever increasing demand for the coffee bean, farmers were encouraged to increase crop yields by clear cutting their farms and changing from native crops to sun tolerant hybrids. The conversion to sun grown coffee has resulted in massive deforestation projects and decimation of the natural rainforests of the world which continues to this day. The resulting imbalance to our world eco-system is far reaching as it has increased worldwide pollution and resulted in coffee production that is heavily reliant upon chemical fertilizers, herbicides and pesticides, that is not necessary when coffee is grown in the shade. The canopy in shade grown coffee plantations not only protects the soil from erosion but it also provides a natural mulch for the coffee plants.
