Marketing Tips: Time Management In Internet Marketing
?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»
Author: Jude Wright

Time Management in Internet Marketing is a big deal! There is
so much information to keep track of, so many ideas to research
and so many tasks to do. Unless you practice some sort of time
management, you will soon be overwhelmed by it all.

Having a plan in place, and periodically looking at that plan
to make sure it's still viable, will you get to the point you
want: To Make Money!

Streamline your online tasks by using some of the following
ideas:

1. What tasks can you do that will contribute the most to your
bottom line? Which will make you the most money? Those tasks
should be your first priority - your "A" List. For instance,
advertising in an ezine or doing work for a client - anything
that could bring immediate income.

2. What things can you do that will bring you income in the
future? Perhaps writing articles or visiting forums. These are
the things that would be on your "B" List of priorities.

3. Now write down all the tasks tht you do that are wasting
your time. These tasks are time consuming and don't really
contribute to your bottom line. Perhaps you are reading email
that you aren't interested in or surfing sites "just for the
heck of it." If you have these on your "To Do" List, take them
off!

4. Do you do too many favors for other people? There is a fine
line between helping others and doing so many "free" tasks for
other people that you can't get your own work done. Networking,
and helping others, is important, but don't neglect your own
necessary tasks to do them.

5. What do yo HAVE to do for your business? These would include
things like bookkeeping, website maintenance, answering email to
customers and clients - the things that every business has to do
to stay in business. If you are truly overwhelmed by all the
administrative tasks, hire someone to help you. For instance,
you can hire a Virtual Assistant or even your own husband or
teenager to do some of the more mundane tasks.

Use the above ideas to streamline your business. Incorporate
your own ideas. Analyzing your "true" priorities "before"
starting on your list of tasks for the day, can free your mind
from the "overwhelm syndrome."

Always look to your bottom line - your profits. Leaving the
high priority tasks to the last means you will be paid last.

HomeBiz Tip: Start a Medical Transcription At Home Career
?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»

As a medical transcriptionist, I do get asked several times a month,
how I got started in this business.  So many people nowadays want
to work from home, especially mothers with young children.
That's the primary reason I started my home business ten years ago,
so I could be there for my daughter.  I didn't want someone else taking
care of her after school instead of me.

It's really not hard to start a medical transcription business.  The
start-up costs are low compared to many other home-based businesses.

You need a form of education, via home study courses or by attending
your local community college.  You do NOT need a degree in medical
transcription to start a business either. In a short amount of time,
usually nine months or less, you can be working from the comfort of
your own home, just like me.

You will need some equipment, such as a computer,  a printer,
a transcriber, and some reference books. All of which can be purchased
second hand if need be. The latest and greatest equipment is not
necessary to get started.

Now, there are some special skills you will need, outside
of the education, which include:

*  Excellent grammar skills
*  Good Listening Skills,
*  Basic computer skills with a word processing program
*  Research Skills
*  Ability to type - your speed will increase with experience
*  Must be detail oriented
*  Ability to work on your own
*  Ability to maintain work deadlines and be a self-motivator

You will also need some computer programs such as a medical
spellchecker and a word expander utility to cut down on the amount of
actual typing you do.  Some programs, such as Microsoft Word?®
include this type of utility.  It is the best invention by far, in my opinion.

Basic bookkeeping is necessary, but not difficult.  A good
bookkeeper is great to have when it comes to taxes and advising
you about saving money with tax deductions for your business.

Medical transcription is usually paid by the amount of work
transcribed.  Therefore, it is quite normal to charge your clients by the
line.  If you charge 13 cents per line and type 200 lines per hour,
(this is a very comfortable speed to type) your hourly rate would end
up being about  $26.00.

Being self-employed does have some pitfalls.  One must consider,
as with any home based business, that once you become self-employed
you are responsible for securing your own health insurance, and putting
away money for retirement.

However, there are many positive things about being self-employed,
as I'm sure you can imagine.  For me, what I love the most, is the
flexibility I have with my time.  If I want to work late in the day I can,
and if I want to work early in the morning, that's up to me.  Running
a home-based medical transcription business is a lot of fun.

Medical transcription is not for everyone, and it is important before
venturing in to any business that you weigh up the pros and cons
of it all and do what is best for your situation.

Adjusting the speed of your mouse pointer and buttons can help
liven up your mouse.

Open Mouse in the Control Panel (click Start, Control Panel,
Printers and Other Hardware, and then Mouse)

Under Buttons, you can adjust the double-click speed to your
preference. Just slide the Speed setting left or right to
adjust. (NOTE: I use an optical mouse with Windows XP, so your
interface and options may vary. You may need to search around
for this feature).

On the Pointer Options tab, under Motion, drag the slider make
the mouse faster or slower.

?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»?«?»

In the small town of Salisbury Mills, NY, the town founder,
Harrison Winston III passed away. Naturally, the whole town
turned out, as did his family coming in from all over the state.
This threw the local funeral home into an uproar.

They had to have some employees do two or three jobs and even
switch jobs to get everything done. One group of family members
piled into the funeral home's limousine. The procession was very
long and not knowing their way, they decided to ask the driver
how much further it would be.

The patriarch tapped the driver on the shoulder, and said,
"Pardon me..."
The driver let out a scream, and turned the car straight into a ditch.
After calming everyone down and making sure everyone was all
right, the driver somberly explained, "I am so sorry for what
happened. You see, I am used to driving the hearse."
---

As I was dropping my son off at daycare the other day, I
overheard some of the children talking about their siblings.
"My brother takes karate lessons," bragged one.
"My sister takes gymnastics," said another.
Not to be outdone, the youngest piped up,

"My sister takes antibiotics!"
---

One Sunday morning, while stationed at Osan Air Base
in South Korea, I was in line for breakfast and noticed
that the cook behind the counter looked kind of harassed.
After I gave him my order, he asked me how I wanted my eggs.
Not wanting to burden him further, I said cheerfully,
"Oh, whatever is easiest for you."
With that, he took two eggs, cracked them open onto
my plate and handed it back to me.
