Hello everyone! Today I have a new review for you! It is on the ebook entitled, "How to Write and Publish your Own Ebook...in as little as 7 Days!" This ebook was written by Jim Edwards and Joe Vitale. On to the review... First things first. The ebook is 95 pages long not including the bonus material. I really like that size. It is enough pages to present good information, but not so many that it takes days to read it. I printed the ebook out and read it in one sitting without a problem. It took me about 40 minutes to read it - it is an easy and enjoyable read. The first part of the ebook outlines the steps a lot of people take to create an ebook and why it doesn't work. The book then goes on to explain how to set yourself up for success. Next there is a good amount of discussion on choosing a topic. Jim really went into good detail here which was a pleasant surprise. Most ebooks that teach you how to create your own ebook barely give a passing thought to the topic. Usually they tell you to "choose a topic you know a lot about." Easier said than done. The truth is choosing a topic is one of the hardest parts. Jim goes into more detail on the subject than any book I've seen which is very useful. The primary part of this ebook shows you how to actually write your ebook in 7 days or less. This part impressed me quite a bit. Jim goes through specific techniques to write your ebook FAST - basically his own speed writing style. It is very unique and effective. I've been testing it out writing some articles for some of my websites - the results are impressive! I'm saving a good amount of time on every article I write. I'd say I can now write 3 articles in the time it used to take me to do 2. I'm actually a pretty quick writer as it is, and I have subconciously followed some of the steps Jim outlines, but having it all layed out on paper explaining it to me has really helped. I even used the same techniques he describes to write a 5 page paper for school - I'm still amazed how fast I got that one done. (Don't tell the teacher!) The goal of the section is really to help you get what you know on paper as fast as possible without wasting time. If that was the only section in the ebook it would be worth the price for that part alone. However, there is a bunch more as well. Jim goes on to discuss how to publish the ebook and market it. A lot of this wasn't brand new information, but there were a couple of things I picked up. Finally, there are interviews with many successful ebook publishers in interview format. I really like interviews. The questions asked are exactly what you would be asking if you were trying to write an ebook, and the answers are great. The interviews make a fantastic addition to the ebook. Bottom line: If you are interested in writing your own ebook for sale on the Internet, this is the first course I would recommend. It covers all the basics and - most importantly - helps you get your ideas onto paper (or computer screen!) And for $29, it can't be beat.
