first issue of "The Cat's Meow for Writers & Readers." I hope you will enjoy
this wild and exciting ride. Let me introduce myself ... I am a freelance
writer/author who is very new to the newsletter/ezine world, though, this isn't
the first time I have been an 'editor' for a newsletter. At an office job I
once worked in, along with being a secretary/typist I was also the newsletter
editor for the department in which I worked ... a little 'experience,' but not
enough to not be nervous about writing this today (especially since I am also
shy) ... yes, us authors do get nervous right before a big writing assignment,
and some of us are quite shy. What I do to try to combat my shyness and
nervousness is to take a deep breath, exhale and then get down to the business
of writing ... that's all we can do to overcome it ... just keep writing, and
try not to worry about anything else. You are probably wondering what I have to
