Hello and welcome to all the new subscribers to this newsletter, just letting
you know of an event coming up.

The 41st? Auckland Studio Potters Annual Exhibition will be held from the 7th
to 30th July 2005 at the? Mairangi Arts Centre, 20 Hastings Rd, Mairangi Bay,
opening on the 6th July from 7pm - 8.30pm.

I imagine most pots will be for sale, and are all made within the last 12
months. So it's all new work. I should be there on the 7th looking around.

Also a few new marks have been added,? there are almost 170 real world marks.

Hi there! This is my first of many? newsletters. First up? the site has gained
a few more potters' marks this week? and is up to 160 thanks to Doris Dutch who
kindly let me look at some of her pots.

The interesting discovery this week was the Rick Rudd mark. On? the belly of a?
lion of course. I think there may be a white cat lurking somewhere in the
attic with? the same mark.

Also I am investigating? Joyce Oliver's other mark, which is a J and Y
combined. I believe I have found some examples also in the attic, which have a
Pat Perrin style onion pot look to them. I am just waiting for conformation on
that one from Joyce.

On trademe.co.nz this week there is a second example of the? Michael Block
mark, just a B in a box. The pot also has the potters' sticker to confirm this.
