Ohhhh I have missed all of you!!! Sorry no letters for a few weeks I have been so busy getting the kids back to school and then I took a part time job again to help pay for all the school clothes, supplies, fees ughh and on and on !! I can't believe what it costs to put them back in school. Oh and great news my Nana is gonna go visit my Mom in Florida at the end of the month so I have been taking her shopping too she needed a few tops and some long night gowns. I am so happy she has decided to go I just know she is gonna enjoy herself :) That will give me a good week to clean her house from top to bottom too !! Also will you all keep my Step Mom in your prayers she was in the hospital for a few days and they say she has a lung infection. Please just pray that she will recover quickly with no complications. Oh I have sooo much to tell you but I have to get to work so I gotta stop for now. I will try to get caught all up on the emails in the next few days so if you wrote please be patient with me I will be working for a few more weeks at least. Your Sister in Christ with His Love, Prayers, and Blessings, Diane dianenadeau@webtv.net ~~~PRAYER REQUEST~~~ Took Misty for her OB regular visit Thursday was in the hospital less then hour later, The Doctor said if it stays like this we will be having a baby @33 weeks then he will be taking to Shreveport, La. to stay in neo ICU till he is stronger. We had lots of questions but only a few got answered I called her father, sister, brother all to come to hospital I was worried I would have had to stay with Misty & Jarrod would have to go with baby & when he gets upset he doesn't talk so they wouldn't have been able to get any type of info from him. The Doctor couldn't get the baby's heart beat & baby hasn't been moving they done 2 ultrasounds & kept a fetal monitor on her all day took it off last night about 1030 said everything looks & sounds good. Just Pray that the cord unwraps & all is well for atleast 3 more weeks little JJ only weighs 4 pounds ? 3 ounces at this time while we was at hospital another baby was transsported to the neo icu in Shreveport so Pray that God blesses & keeps him as well.... Pour into a container. Pour under running water. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Easy Light Banana Pudding? ? 1 can Sweetened Condensed Milk (or Low-Fat or Fat-Free)* 1 small pkg. instant vanilla pudding (or sugar-free fat-free)* 1 cup cold water Vanilla or Chocolate Wafers 2-3 ripe bananas, sliced 8 oz.? prepared? whipped topping? (I use lite or Fat-Free) Combine Sweetened Condensed milk with water and pudding mix.? Stir by hand or mixer until thickened. Chill for approximately 10 minutes. Fold in about 6 oz. of the whipped topping.? Layer pudding mix, wafers and bananas alternately.? Top with remaining whipped topping. *If you use Low-fat of Fat-Free condensed milk you will need to use 2 packages of instant pudding.? Always double the recipe anyway. It is so much lighter and does not have a "sugar-free" taste.? I have used all chocolate wafers, when I can find them, and I have combined both. Thanks Gramma Bobbie !! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Summer Layer Salad Ingredients 10 slices bacon 1 medium head iceberg lettuce, shredded 1 large red onion, thinly sliced 3/4 cup finely chopped celery 1 (10-ounce) package frozen green peas, thawed 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided 1/2 cup mayonnaise 1/2 cup sour cream 1/2 envelope ranch salad dressing mix 1 teaspoon paprika Directions 1. Fry bacon in a medium skillet over medium heat until browned and crisp, about 5 minutes; drain and crumble. 2. Reserve 1/2 cup lettuce. Layer remaining lettuce, red onion, celery and peas in a glass salad bowl. Sprinkle with three-fourths of the bacon and 1/2 cup cheddar. 3. Combine mayonnaise, sour cream and salad dressing mix in a bowl; mix well. Spread evenly over top layer. 4. Chill salad, covered, until serving time. Sprinkle with remaining bacon, reserved lettuce, remaining cheddar and paprika just before serving. Per serving: 384 Cal.; 13g Protein; 31g Fat; 16g Carb.; 650mg Sodium; 48mg Chol.; 5g Fiber. Tips * To quickly clean iceberg lettuce, firmly hit the core end on the countertop, then twist and remove the core. Run cold water into the cavity and invert the head to thoroughly drain before shredding. ? ? * Purchasing shredded cheddar cheese may be convenient, but you will save money if you buy a block of cheese and shred it yourself.
