-=*=-Almost any recipe can be made sugar *free* if you're creative.
-=*=-Instead of sugar, you can use a sugar substitute of equal value.
HOWEVER, you have to remember to reduce the amount of liquid in the recipe, because you use so much less "EQUAL" than you would "SUGAR".
-=*=-Apple sauce or any mashed fruit of your choice can be used in place of sugar in many a recipe.
-=*=-Instead of Chocolate you can use carob, which is very healthy &
sugar free* as well, or use cocoa & add your desired fruit.
-=*=-When making a substitution, make note of the liquid texture of
your replacement to make sure your fruit etc. equals in liquid form,

Pumpkin White Chip Macadamia Bars
 
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground cloves
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup solid pack pumpkin
1 egg
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups (12 ounce package) white morsels, divided
2/3 cup chopped macadamia nuts

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Combine flour, cinnamon, cloves & baking soda in small bowl.
Beat butter & sugars in large mixer bowl until creamy. Beat in pumpkin, egg & vanilla extract until blended; gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in 1 1/2 cups of the white morsels & all the nuts. Spread into greased 15 x 10 1/2-inch jellyroll pan. Bake for 18 to 22 minutes or until wooden pick inserted comes out clean. Cool in pan on wire rack.
Melt remaining morsels in microwave or double boiler. Drizzle over bars. Yields about 3 dozen.

Snickers Candy

1 cup milk chocolate chips
1/4 cup butterscotch chips
1/4 cup creamy peanut butter

Combine in a small saucepan; stir over low heat until melted & smooth. Spread onto the bottom of a lightly greased 13 x 9-inch pan. Refrigerate until set.

Filling
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup evaporated milk
1 1/2 cups Marshmallow Cr&#232;me
1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups chopped salted peanuts

Melt butter in a heavy saucepan over medium-high heat; stir in the Marshmallow Cr&#232;me, peanut butter & vanilla extract. Add peanuts. Spread over first layer. Refrigerate until set.

Caramel Layer
1 (14 ounce) package caramels
1/4 cup whipping cream

Combine caramels & cream in a saucepan; stir over low heat until melted & smooth. Spread over the filling. Refrigerate until set.

Icing
1 cup milk chocolate chips
1/4 cup butterscotch chips
1/4 cup creamy peanut butter

Combine chips & peanut butter; stir over low heat until melted & smooth. Pour over the caramel layer. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Cut into 1-inch squares. Store in the refrigerator. Yields about 8 dozen.
