Sift the flour, baking powder & salt. Set aside. In a large bowl using an electric mixer, beat the butter & sugar on medium speed until the mixture looks fluffy & smooth, about 30 seconds. Blend the egg & vanilla extract into the butter mixture. Stop the mixer & scrape the bowl with a rubber spatula once during this mixing. Decrease the speed to low & add the flour mixture, mixing just until the flour is incorporated. Gently mix in the candy bar pieces. Drop the batter by large tablespoons onto baking sheets. Bake for approximately 8 minutes, watching to prevent burning. Remove while warm to prevent sticking, & cool on wire racks. Melt some chocolate & dirzzle over top. Spread reserved 2 cups batter over patties. Bake 50-55 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan. Cool completely in pan on wire rack; cut into squares.
