Hello everyone, Here's a note I got from Kay when she got home last night: They are running a bunch of tests on Kyle. Hopefully we'll know something today or tomorrow. They are waitng on scans from Riverside (hospital he WAS in). Kyle had his eyes opened a lot but he doesn't look at us yet. He did move his head, turned it towards me but eyes not focused. Then he turned his head the other way after a while. So that's something, more than before. Love you....xoxoxo Kay Since then... Cool completely and cut into small pieces these are very rich, and taste best if chilled. Store in refrigerator. In the top of a double boiler over simmering water, melt caramels with remaining 1/2 cup evaporated milk. When caramel mixture is well mixed, pour over baked layer. Cover with chocolate chips. Pour remaining batter on top of morsels. Return to preheated 350F oven and bake for 18 minutes. Let cool before cutting into squares.
