Hello everyone, Well, news is not any better on Kyle. Doctors say he was without oxygen twice, not just once. First when the heart stopped, second when he had the stroke. Yes, they are saying he has had a stroke. They have been testing non-stop since he came to them at OSU Hospital. There are 2 types of strokes. He had the worst one:( Apparently it didn't drain? All our Doctors & Nurses & other medical people on our list will know what this means...anyway, they are requesting a certain test that was done at Riverview, to compare. They say he will never be the person we once knew:( At this time he also has a collapsed lung. Poor guy is really being rained on. His eyes wander, but, he doesn't focus. Needless to say, everyone is terribly upset, especially Kay. We sure do need & so appreciate your prayers & support. God bless you each one. Grease and flour the cups of a 12-cup muffin pan. Set aside. In a large, heavy-bottomed saucepan over medium heat, begin melting the butter. When it is half melted, add the chocolate, remove from the heat when the chocolate is half melted, & stir until the butter & chocolate are completely melted. Mix in the brown sugar, coffee powder, & vanilla extract. Mix in the eggs. Add the baking soda in pinches, breaking up any lumps with your fingers, & stir well. Stir in the flour & beat until it is well incorporated & the batter is thick. Stir in the water. Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin pan, filling each cup about three-quarters full. Lay 1 teaspoon of raspberry preserves on the surface of each cup. The jam will sink down slightly. Bake for 15 minutes, or until each cupcake is firm. Cool on a rack for 10 minutes. Lift each cupcake from the pan & let cool to room temperature. Cut cookie dough in half crosswise. Cut each section in half lengthwise. Press dough in bottom of ungreased 13x9-inch pan. Bake at 375?°F. for 10 to 18 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool 15 minutes. In large saucepan, combine 1 cup of the chips & 1 cup of the dip. Cook over medium heat until melted and smooth, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Stir in cereal & cashews. Spread over cooled crust. In small saucepan, combine remaining 1 cup chips & 1/2 cup dip. Cook over medium heat until melted & smooth, stirring constantly. Spread over cereal mixture. Refrigerate 30 minutes or until set. Cut into bars.
