Hello everyone, The ENT called Kay & said they are going to do the Tracheotomy later today on Kyle...sometime between 12:00-1:00. It will be done at his bedside with a local anesthetic. We are so anxious for this go well with him. Otherwise, he is mildly sedated for the procedure & we are hoping that his heart doesn't stop as Doctors said could happen again. Kyle's birthday is today...all we can do is HOPE him well:( When is IS well, we shall have a huge belated birthday party! Please keep him in your prayers. Divide dough into 4 parts. Shape each part into a roll, about 1 1/2 inches in diameter; roll in coconut until thickly coated. Wrap in plastic wrap; chill until firm, at least 1 hour or up to 2 weeks. (For longer storage, freeze up to 6 weeks.) Preheat oven to 350F. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper or leave ungreased. Cut rolls into 1/8-inch thick slices. Place 2 inches apart on cookie sheets. Bake 10 to 13 minutes or until firm, but not overly browned. Add eggs & vanilla; beat well. Add melted chocolate; mix well. Add combined flour & baking soda; mix well. Stir in oats & nuts; mix well. Cover; chill at least 1 hour. Heat oven to 350 F. Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Place 3 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until cookies are almost set. Centers should still be moist. Do not overbake. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet; remove to wire rack. Cool completely. Sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired. *To melt chocolate: Place in medium microwaveable bowl. Microwave at HIGH 1 to 2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth. Or, place in top part of double boiler over hot, not boiling, water; stir occasionally until smooth. *-=**-=*W!N a $500.
