Kay has corrected me on that...they paid for all the family flowers, sent flowers & food, but, did not pay the BIG bill...I guess when something sounds too good to be true, it usually is). I am taking a few minutes to let you know that the funeral services for Kyle, went well. Kyle was a Bengals fan & they had his Black & Pewter casket, draped in a Bengals blanket. Kay & the kids spent a few minutes alone with him at the end & said a prayer & covered him in his blanket. Kyle would love that. They played "Amazing Grace" on the Bagpipes, which Kyle loved. Another hymn was "Called to serve Him"...this one had a lot of personal meaning to it, with regard to Kyle & Kay. There were so many flowers, it was incredible. There were so many friends from work & they all said they would miss him so much, cause he was always able to make them laugh. They took up a collection for Kay & the kids at work. We have so much food here, we will have to start freezing it, or give it to others. We can't possibly eat it all. Although things are hard; as you can see, parts of it has been made easier by the relief of not worrying about bills etc. for now. We have had many beautiful cards in the mail, some with gifts in them for Kay & the kids. Thank you so much. We have so many beautiful, supportive emails from you guys, prayers, poems & lovely comments, & one member even showed up with food, flowers & a $gift for Kay & the kids. What an awesome lady & her husband, & children. All of these things have equaled out to a ton of love & help. God Bless you every single one. We appreciate you so much. I decided to send an update, & some sites for you, as our advertisers need us to keep going. We hope that at least myself, will be fully back to work by next week. In the meantime, this news is from Kay & me & will go out to all of you for now. I don't know when Kay will feel up to going back to doing her own, but, in the meantime, I will try to send an update as frequently as possible. Lightly butter a 12-cup fluted tube pan or bundt cake pan. Combine butter with honey in a large bowl and beat with an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition. Mix in vanilla. Sift flour and next 4 ingredients together in another bowl. Add half the dry ingredients alternately with half the sour cream to honey butter mixture. Repeat with remaining flour mixture and sour cream. Gently fold in chocolate chips and nuts. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake 50-55 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted in center. Meanwhile, melt white chocolate in the top of a double boiler over medium heat. Stir in milk. Cool cake in pan on a wire rack 10 minutes. Remove cake from pan and cool completely on wire rack.
