Grease cookie sheets. Using an electric mixer, beat shortening & sugar together in a medium mixing bowl until light & fluffy. Add vanilla & egg; mix well. Combine flour, baking powder & salt in a separate mixing bowl. Add to shortening mixture, mixing until a soft dough forms. Stir in cranberries. Immediately drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto prepared cookie sheets. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. Transfer cookies to a wire rack; cool completely. Dip half of each cookie into melted chocolate & then in nuts. Allow chocolate to dry completely. Grease 4 (3/4-cup) custard cups or souffl?© dishes. Place on baking sheet. Microwave chocolate & butter in large microwavable bowl on High 1 min. or until butter is melted. Stir with wire whisk until chocolate is completely melted. Stir in sugar until well blended. Whisk in eggs & egg yolks. Stir in flour. Divide batter between prepared custard cups. Bake 13-14 min. or until sides are firm but centres are soft. Let stand 1 min. Carefully run small knife around cakes to loosen. Invert cakes onto dessert dishes.
