  PICKED LAST’S GIG OF THE MONTH! July has had a lot to offer but Picked Last’s Gig Of The Month is still to come.. Saturday 29th July, Bournemouth Opera House, Drive Thru Records’ ALLISTER, Nitro Records’ THE AQUABATS and also MC LARS! Do we need any more reasons for our choice?  TRUE SKA LEGENDS VISIT BOURNEMOUTH Toots and The Maytals, the band behind such ska classics as ‘Monkey Man’, are at The Opera House this Wednesday. Although some younger ska fans may not recognise the name this band have been covered by artists such as The Specials, No Doubt, Sublime and Reel Big Fish. A must see show for any generation of ska fans.  LETS HERE THREE CHEERS.. ..For Sound Seeker! They put Upton Community Centre on the map, offering a number of highly successful DIY shows and establishing the venue for others (including Picked Last!) to put on even more. They return on Wednesday with a line up that includes Attack The System (pictured), Braking Fast, Dangle Berrys and Bus Tours From Hell.  CREATING A BUZZ IN TOWN Essential Music in Bournemouth has now become Buzz! The rebrand comes with a new look store, which, alongside the same great priced CD’s and DVD’s now stocks a range of merchandise including t-shirts, posters, badges, posters, mugs + more.
