 FIRST POST! Hello people of Bournemouth, Poole and the surrounding suburbs, thank you for signing up to receive the weekly Picked Last E-zine. If you are reading this somewhere other than your inbox visit our myspace profiles for details on how to get it send directly to you. This first post is partly a test of the service provider we’re using and also to let you know what to expect from the post each week. LATEST NEWS We will have our ears to the ground every week leading up to each post, confirming rumours that may be circulating, bringing you news you may have missed elsewhere and also announcing exclusives as time goes on. If you have a story to report please send it to pickedlastmusic@hotmail.com and we’ll do our best to get in the soonest post possible. GIG LISTINGS We will be listing shows across the area for the forthcoming week, HOWEVER we will only be listing shows for shows we recommend and the bands who are supporting our project in return. If you’re in a band do not hesitate to get in touch and find out how you can help us to help you In addition to the gig listings those who receive the html format version of the E-zine will also get to see FLYERS In our bid to encourage bands and promoters to produce flyers for their shows we will also be including flyers that are sent to us via pickedlastmusic@hotmail.com or our myspace profile. AS FOR OTHER CONTENT.. Wondering why we haven’t mentioned, reviews/interviews/other articles yet? Well, we don’t believe that an e-mail format e-zine would do any of those more detailed features justice SO we’re also going to be putting together a monthly print zine that will be available in a number of independent stores across the local area, look out for that later in the year..
