We are trying to get back to normal again here at Littlebytesnews.com and MamasTimeOut©, after over a week of house problems and repairs, we are finally on the road to restoration. The house is getting restored from our plumbing disaster and soon we will have new tile in our bedroom as well! So there is some good out of the bad.

Although we didn't have plans to remodel, we have been happy about the new look our house will have in some rooms, thanks to insurance coverage. At the same time it has been rough for all of us having our walls and ceilings filled with holes, contractors and apprentices running around and living out of cardboard boxes in our bedroom. The baby points to all the holes as if to say, "what happened?" Thankfully we should be back to normal again by the end of the week, but at least the repairs are done to our plumbing. God forbid you or anyone you know has to go through anything like this. It has not been a fun experience, but a definite learning experience. We had our share of problems with an unethical contractor as well, which is a whole other story I will get into at another time and one that I hope to offer some insight to others who have home repairs in the future.
