1. Welcome New and Current Subscribers Hi everyone, I hope you had a good week. Mine was busy as usual,
along with a bit stressful and discouraging. My cat of 18 years is very sick. He is suffering kidney failure. I could not find it in my heart to put him down, so opted to have him treated aggressively with IV fluids and 24 hour care for the next few days. I am hoping he will get back to normal levels so that he can come home and I can help maintain his protein levels via subcutaneous fluids at home. I've gone through this before with him three years ago and it was successful so I am hoping it will be again. He seems to have such a will to live. The vet thought we were going to lose him the last time and he's still around three years later. So, I am hopeful he will make a full recovery again. Have any of you ever been through this experience? What was it like? Did you ever have to put a pet
down? How did you get over it and how long did it take? Remember, Littlebytesnews.com exists for parents and members like you.
