returning to Windsor this week and WAAG needs your help.  It was the Shrine
Circus the took the City of Windsor to court over its' by-law prohibiting
animal acts.  This resulted in the by-law
being overturned which is a big set back for animal rights. The court
ruling will encourage circuses to take other jurisdictions to court
over similar by-laws.

Where: Windsor Arena (located at 572 McDougall Street on the corner of
McDougall and Wyandotte and 1 block south of the casino)

When: Wednesday July 27th at 3pm, and 6:30pm

You are also welcome and encouraged to bring your own signs, but we will have
some available.  We also need people to help hold up banners.

As many of you know, sadly the city's circus bylaw was overturned earlier this
year in court. The animals NEED your voice more than ever. If Windsor City
Council gets enough pressure this year, next year they may decide to NOT permit
animal acts on city property. To do this though, it is going to take YOUR
voice!!!
