THIS SUNDAY! POLYBE + SEATS PRESENTS THE LADIES??™ AUXILIARY TELEPHONE BEE: A Call to Arms Or, Put Your Money Where Your Troops Are The Tank 432 W. 42nd Street, Ground Floor (enter through courtyard) Sunday, March 20, 2005 Doors open at 7:00pm. Calling begins at 7:30pm $10 Suggested Contribution The Ladies??™ Auxiliary Telephone Bee cordially invites you to attend the latest and greatest in our series of charitable chats, A Call to Arms. On the 2nd anniversary of the US invasion of Iraq, we will examine the successes, disappointments, problems, and possibilities in this highly controversial military engagement. Callers will speak with veterans of the campaigns in Iraq and Afghanistan, Veterans Association Medical personnel, current GIs, and maybe even an anti-war activist or two. Our aim is a non-partisan sharing of sometimes contradictory viewpoints, strong feelings, and firsthand experiences. Proceeds from the Call to Arms Telephone Bee will benefit Operation Truth ( www.optruth.org ), a veterans??™ organization with an activist agenda. Earlier this week, our Artistic Director Jessica Brater joined the hosts of Cat Radio Caf?©, a live salon of the arts, on radio station WBAI to discuss this telephone bee and our past two bees, CALLING ALL SWING STATES and HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ROE V.
