Subject: SelfPositivity Getting Frustrated - and You? - March27, 2008

It's getting harder and harder to put out a free ezine these days, seems like. Almost as hard as trying to avoid ads on tv.

I've just had to change my password, again, after two more messages got through to you last week. I am very unhappy that they did, but I find myself faced with only 4 options to deal with it.

1. Give up on the ezine and create a blog that lets you 'subscribe for updates' via email or RSS
2. Give up on the ezine and open a membership site that sends out notices (unfortunately the free or inexpensive software to do this seems to be just as vulnerable to spam posts, so to guarantee spam free it would have to be paid)
3. Download the list and send your email out manually - again no guarantee and it would mean subscriptions & unsubscriptions would have to be done by hand
4. Move the ezine to another service like aweber, but again I'd have to find some way to pay for it.

I'm at the end of my tether here folks. I don't know what to do. I do know that I'm not happy to leave things as they are, because it's not good enough as it is and I don't want to take chances that this will keep happening. I do want to point out that any issues I send will have a subject line starting with "SelfPositivity" - these spam mailings don't, so if anything comes through without it just hit delete, ok?

If you have any other ideas, or want to put your opinion in as to how I should go, please reply and let me know. What I'll also do is put a post up on the old SelfPositivity blog with a short poll for you. One way or another, I want to have a decision and start going on it by this time next week, even if it means the end of the newsletter. I'm more sorry than you can know because I've enjoyed sharing, so I hope it can be solved short of that, but the bottom line is that I refuse to take chances with your details.

Best Wishes, Crystal
