Book Review:
The Beatles: The Biography by Bob Spitz

Here's an idea for a new Beatles trivia game--take the new biography, The
Beatles, by Bob Spitz, and try to see how many factual errors you can find
throughout the book. A group of Beatle fans have already started the game
and as you can see below, our list is quite extensive.

It's obvious that there was a gross lack of regard for editing and checking
source material in the compilation of this book. As we began to notice
glaring errors with some shock, we then began hearing from others . . .

John Lennon exhibit in Paris

Cite' de la Musique in Paris, France says Ono lent about 90 percent of the
artifacts for the exhibit "John Lennon, Unfinished Music.''

Curator Emma Lavigne says Ono has "holes in her apartment.'' Yoko Ono has
torn apart her own home for the sake of a John Lennon exhibit now running in
Paris.

The show includes the 1966 Andy Warhol portrait of Lennon that Lavigne says
normally hangs over Ono's fireplace in New York. The show features collages
Lennon made for George Harrison and Paul McCartney, the original handwritten
lyrics to the song "Imagine'' and the piano upon which Lennon composed most
of the "Double Fantasy'' album. It also includes Beatlemania trinkets like
Beatle dolls, watches, rulers, official hair pomade and Beatles panties. It
also has Lennon's school report issued by the headmaster at Christmas in
1953, in which he describes Lennon as "shocking'' and notes, "There will be
serious trouble ahead unless he learns to behave himself.''

The exhibit runs through June 25th.

ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE GEORGE HARRISON FUND FOR UNICEF AT THE DOCUMENTARY
SCREENING OF "THE CONCERT FOR BANGLADESH REVISITED WITH GEORGE HARRISON AND
FRIENDS"
UNICEF Ambassadors T?©a Leoni and Alyssa Milano in Attendance as Ringo Starr,
Billy Preston and Others Reunite

At the Oct. 19 documentary gala screening in Burbank of Apple Films Inc.
"The Concert for Bangladesh Revisited with George Harrison and Friends" to
celebrate the launch of the DVD and CD, Olivia Harrison announced The George
Harrison Fund for UNICEF.

The George Harrison Fund for UNICEF is a joint undertaking between the
Harrison family and the U.S. Fund for UNICEF to support UNICEF programs that
provide lifesaving assistance to children caught in humanitarian
emergencies. In the tradition established by George Harrison and Ravi
Shankar, The George Harrison Fund for UNICEF will continue to support UNICEF
programs in Bangladesh while expanding its influence to include other
countries in crisis where children are at risk.

In emergencies, UNICEF's priority is to ensure the immediate care and
protection for the most disadvantaged children: victims of war, disasters,
extreme poverty, all forms of violence and exploitation. As with Bangladesh
in the 1970s, many of these emergencies are still virtually ignored by the
media and critically underfunded.

DVD: The Dick Cavett Show: John Lennon and Yoko Ono (November 1, 2005)
3 Complete Episodes of the Legendary Late-Night Dick Cavett Talk Show
featuring Off-the-Cuff, Unreserved Interviews as Well as Rare Live
Performances with John and Yoko in stores Nov. 1st!

John Lennon and Yoko Ono appeared on The Dick Cavett Show three times.
Clearly, they enjoyed their time with Cavett as these television interviews
stand out as their most relaxed and in-depth. The show which aired on
September 11, 1971 (taped three days prior) is noted as Lennon's first
American on-camera interview post Beatles dissolution.

After the taping of that show ended, John and Yoko remained on set and
continued their interview with Cavett while the cameras remained rolling.
These interview segments were later woven into the show which aired two
weeks later, on September 24th. During their first visit with Cavett, John
and Yoko promised the host they'd return to perform; they honored that
promise for the show that aired May 12th, each performing one song.

Includes all-new episode introductions by Dick Cavett and a featurette
interview with Dick Cavett.
