NPR update

So, turns out I'll be on Wednesday's Morning Edition, since they wanted it to
be the same day Cap 34 hits stores. I have no idea how much of the interview
they'll use, but it was a good interview.

Also, the next Word Balloon podcast will be a long rambling conversation John
Suintres and I had last week about a bunch of stuff. I have no idea how long it
will be. At least an hour.
Lots of stuff coming up soon. I spent a few hours at the local NPR station
yesterday being interviewed about Cap 34, the new Captain America issue, which
comes out Wednesday, and the guy interviewing me, Brian Wallace, I think it
was, had actually read all the books and wasn't just asking about the gun
situation every way possible. It was a really great interview, actually, that
will be hacked into a few tiny pieces and run somewhere on NPR's Monday shows,
I'm told. I don't know which ones though.

Also spend a few hours doing an in-depth Word Balloon podcast interview that
will be released next week, covering Captain America and Criminal and veering
off into many tangents. It'll probably run two hours or something.

There's some other big Criminal PR about to start late next week, for the final
week of ordering on the new volume of the series, but I don't want to spoil it
all, so keep your eyes peeled. Actually, if you have to peel your eyes, I'm not
This is partly a test, to see if the system is working yet, so feel free to
delete it right away.

Retailer Mike Malve emailed to point out the the second Criminal trade: LAWLESS
was in the top 10 best-selling GNs for the Direct Market in December. This
kind of shocks me, but I think it must've been a really slow month for graphic
novels or something.

In any case, if you haven't checked it out by now, please pick up a copy at
your local retailer.
