Daily Affirmations

March 31, 2004

Affirmations for letting go:

I gently release all limiting ideas concerning life and myself.

I release all unhealthy emotional attachments to persons, situations, and conditions.

I release every mental attitude which withholds my blessings.

I release other people to find their good in their own way.

As I release, I open the way for resolving of my difficulties.

Today's Quote:

The attempt to change people is the greatest energy waste of all, not because people can't change, but because change is a growth process from within.

Affirmations are positive statements of Truth. By the use of affirmations we claim and appropriate all that belongs to us according to God's plan.

To affirm means to make firm, to make visible, to establish. Practice of affirmations implies that there is a great unseen world, spiritual realm, or the kingdom of God as Jesus termed it. Perfect divine ideas that eternally exist in this realm are being manifested, when we embrace them and speak them out, with faith and boldness.

Affirmation proclaims the Truth of Being, even in the face of contrary circumstances. By doing this, it builds our faith and releases mighty spiritual forces that begin their invisible work in our life. Affirmation is like a seed, that, being thrown into the spiritual realm grows until becomes visible in the physical realm and brings forth an abundant harvest.
