Daily Affirmations

February 13, 2003

Affirmations for new beginnings:

Each day is a clean slate for me to write on.

I let go of the past and begin anew.

I live in God's eternal now.

I do not cling to the past successes and failures. I am open to new experiences.

I am open to the new understanding of God, myself, and the world.

Affirmations are positive statements of Truth. By the use of affirmations we claim and appropriate all that belongs to us according to God's plan.

To affirm means to make firm, to make visible, to establish. Practice of affirmations implies that there is a great unseen world, spiritual realm, or the kingdom of God as Jesus termed it. Perfect divine ideas that eternally exist in this realm are being manifested, when we embrace them and speak them out, with faith and boldness.

Affirmation proclaims the Truth of Being, even in the face of contrary circumstances. By doing this, it builds our faith and releases mighty spiritual forces that begin their invisible work in our life. Affirmation is like a seed, that, being thrown into the spiritual realm grows until becomes visible in the physical realm and brings forth an abundant harvest.
