January 19, 2005

Affirmations for living in the present:

Being thankful for the newness of today, I let my past to be past.

Being thankful for the newness of today, I concentrate my energy on tasks that are before me.

My heart is open to all the wonderful possibilities of change.

I let go of all concerns about the future. My future is my friend.

I create for myself a world of joy and happiness.

Today's Quote:

Your responsibility is to deal with your present situation and your present attitudes. Don't try to live in the past.

Affirmations are positive statements of Truth. By the use of affirmations we claim and appropriate all that belongs to us according to God's plan.

To affirm means to make firm, to make visible, to establish. Practice of affirmations implies that there is a great unseen world, spiritual realm, or the kingdom of God as Jesus termed it. Perfect divine ideas that eternally exist in this realm are being manifested, when we embrace them and speak them out, with faith and boldness.

Affirmation proclaims the Truth of Being, even in the face of contrary circumstances. By doing this, it builds our faith and releases mighty spiritual forces that begin their invisible work in our life. Affirmation is like a seed, that, being thrown into the spiritual realm grows until becomes visible in the physical realm and brings forth an abundant harvest.
