Daily Affirmations

April 25, 2003

Affirmations for choices:

My choice is to know myself and to grow in appreciation of myself.

My choice is to express my God-given gifts and talents.

My choice is to respect other people's rights and interests, and to help them as much as I can.

My choice is to learn from life and the world around me.

My choice is to live and to be blessed - today, and all the days of my life.

Affirmations are positive statements of Truth. By the use of affirmations we claim and appropriate all that belongs to us according to God's plan.

To affirm means to make firm, to make visible, to establish. Practice of affirmations implies that there is a great unseen world, spiritual realm, or the kingdom of God as Jesus termed it. Perfect divine ideas that eternally exist in this realm are being manifested, when we embrace them and speak them out, with faith and boldness.

Affirmation proclaims the Truth of Being, even in the face of contrary circumstances. By doing this, it builds our faith and releases mighty spiritual forces that begin their invisible work in our life. Affirmation is like a seed, that, being thrown into the spiritual realm grows until becomes visible in the physical realm and brings forth an abundant harvest.
