Affirmations for word power:
I speak my words with authority and firm conviction.
My words shape and sustain my life.
I speak abundance of all good things into existence.
My life is in the power of my tongue (Proverbs 18:21).
It is done to me according to my faith and my words.
Today's Quote:
The power lies in affirming a higher good than that which
seemingly exists, and in willing better results than would
ordinarily seem apparent. In a complex situation, you seek
to discern the perfect solution. In trouble, you hold to
the belief that the difficulty can be perfectly overcome. In
the midst of strife, you visualize peace; in the midst of
anger, tranquility; in the midst of sickness, you seek to see
yourself whole and well and affirm this condition as confidently
as though the goal had already been achieved.

The purpose of affirmation is to establish in consciousness
a broad understanding of the divine principles on which all
life and existence depend. By affirming Truth we are lifted
out of false thinking into the consciousness of Spirit.
An affirmation is a positive statement of Truth. By the use
of it one claims and appropriates that which is his in Truth.
It is the mental movement that asserts confidently and
persistently the Truth of Being in the face of all appearances
to the contrary.
Affirmations of words of Truth realized in consciousness bring
the mind into just the right attitude to receive light, power,
and guidance from Spirit. Words are the vehicles through which
ideas make themselves manifest. Words that have in them
the realization of perfect, everywhere-present, always-present
divine life, and our oneness with this life, are dominant
in the restoration of life and health.
